How to introduce a patient to MARLO

 

Your office has a unique QR code that helps you introduce patients to MARLO and makes it easier for you at checkout. Make sure to have your office’s unique QR code printed and displayed for patients!

Why the QR Code?

 

The QR Code is the best way to opt patients into text messages, which makes communication with the patient easier than ever!
 

• The patient enters their email, phone number and shipping address in themselves, reducing data entry for you and minimizing the risk of error.

How do I ask my patients to scan my MARLO QR Code?

 

"We use MARLO to order your contact lenses. This allows us to ship your contacts directly to your home or location of choice. Please scan this QR code, so you can let us know where you would like your lenses delivered and how you would like to receive your tracking information, and we will handle the rest. Once you‘ve completed that, we recommend you download the MARLO App to make tracking and reordering easy."

Keep the QR codes at the check-in counter and/or in the exam lane. When the contact lens patient is waiting to see the doctor, have them scan the QR code for a more seamless ordering experience!

Have the patient scan your office’s unique QR Code on their cell phone

This will prompt the patient to enter their shipping information & create a profile for future reorders

The patient should now appear in the ‘Upcoming Patients’ section on your MY MARLO dashboard

Alternative to the QR code

 

  1. Click 'Enter Rx' and you can choose Mirror Import or Manual Entry to enter the patients Email, First name, Last name and exam date, then click 'Enter Rx' again.
    If following this route, you must gain verbal consent from the patient to enter their prescription, exam date, and contact information into MARLO. Once done, check the box and click ‘Next’ on the pop-up.
  2. Enter prescription and order information to complete the order.
  3. Important: Direct the patient to download the MARLO App and use the same email and phone number to access order information & place future reorders conveniently! 

How to print your office’s unique QR code

Click ‘Account’ in the top right-hand corner

Click ‘Settings’

Scroll down to ‘Important Account Links’

Click on the printer icon under the ‘QR Code’ section
