How to place a patient order (over the phone)

  1. Check if the patient is in the MARLO system: hover over ‘Patient Management’ at the top. Click ‘Patient Profiles’, and search the patient’s name in the search bar.

    Note: If you cannot find the patient in the search bar, this means the patient is not currently in MARLO. Click the yellow ‘Enter Rx’ button to enter the patient into MARLO*.
     

  2. Click on the patient’s name to pull up their profile, then click ‘Begin Order’.
     
  3. If necessary, update the Rx and/or patient information. Click ‘Start Order’.
     
  4. Determine the best method for collecting payment:
    • If you wish to collect payment over the phone, click ‘Create Order in Office’.

    • If you want the patient to enter their own payment information, click ‘Text or Email Order to Patient’. This will send the patient a link to complete the order and enter their own payment information.

*You must gain verbal consent from the patient to enter their data in MARLO if you are using the ‘Enter Patient’ route
